We work on cutting-edge technologies, including anomaly detection in parts tested by X-rays, ultrasound, and other NDT methods for the nuclear, oil & gas, naval, and aerospace sectors.
Job Description:
As an NDT Technician at EXANODIA, you will be primarily responsible for annotating and processing the data used for training and improving our artificial intelligence models. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers to ensure the quality of inspection data (ultrasound signals, eddy currents, etc.), which is essential for the effective functioning of our AI-assisted control solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Annotate and label data from NDT inspections (images, signals) for training machine learning models.
- Collaborate with data scientists to identify anomalies and defects in the collected data.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of annotations to improve the performance of artificial intelligence models.
- Use specific tools for processing and managing large amounts of industrial data.
- Participate in validating the results produced by AI models and provide feedback to optimize their accuracy.
- Contribute to the creation and management of image and signal databases for model training.
- Ensure the traceability and organization of inspection data in compliance with industrial cybersecurity standards.
Profile sought:
Technical skills:
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, particularly ultrasound (UT), Phased Array (PAUT), and Eddy Current (EC).
- Experience with image or industrial data annotation tools.
- Good understanding of defects and anomalies commonly encountered in industrial environments (welding, metallurgy, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of data handling (Excel, SQL, or other databases).
- Experience with machine learning or computer vision technologies is a plus.
Personal qualities:
- Precision and rigor in data annotation and management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams, especially with data scientists and engineers.
- Autonomy and analytical mindset to identify and classify defects in inspection data.
- Motivation to contribute to AI projects applied to the industrial sector.
Qualifications:
- Bac+2/3 (BTS/DUT/Licence) in non-destructive testing, physical measurements, or a related field.
- Experience in data annotation in an industrial context or quality control.
- NDT certification (COFREND, ASNT, or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
