The adidas Yeezy 500 High “Sumac” is an earth tone colorway of the retro basketball-inspired high-top by Kanye West. A May 2021 release, the “Sumac” features a predominantly brown color scheme with hues of the neutral color appearing in dark and light tones on various panels. Brown mesh forms the base with dusty blue suede overlays appearing on the either side and on the eyelets. Bold red leather overlays on the collar, along the eyelets, and on the shoelaces breaks up the look. A tan suede panel on the toe contrasts the brown mudguard. Adidas’s throwback adiPRENE midsole and Feet You Wear outsole are touchstone designs from the brand’s archival ‘90s basketball segment. Release date: May 17, 2021.
