    EXANODIA Featured at the DIR 2025 International Symposium

    EXANODIA’s work on the automation of radiographic inspection has been selected for presentation at the 10th International Symposium on Digital Industrial Radiology and Computed Tomography (DIR 2025) — a leading international event organized by COFREND, CEA-List, and DGZfP.

    DIR 2025 brings together researchers and industry experts to explore cutting-edge developments in digital radiography, computed tomography, computer vision, and artificial intelligence applied to non-destructive testing (NDT).

    Bringing speed and reliability to radiographic image interpretation

    EXANODIA’s paper, entitled
    “Smart-RT: End-to-end automatic radiographic images analysis through a multistage object detection algorithm”,
    presents a novel approach to automating weld radiograph interpretation through a multi-stage AI pipeline. The paper addresses key industrial challenges:

    • Reducing human subjectivity in radiographic evaluation,

    • Accelerating image analysis workflows,

    • Improving inspection reliability in safety-critical sectors such as nuclear and energy.

    A milestone for EXANODIA’s Smart-RT technology
