EXANODIA is an innovative startup founded in 2023 in Lyon, specializing in AI-assisted Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). We develop software solutions to automate and ensure reliable industrial inspections. Our work spans demanding industries such as nuclear, aerospace, oil & gas, and naval, where precision and safety are paramount.
Internship Description
In a context of growth and organizational structuring, we are strengthening our cybersecurity practices to sustainably secure our IT and Cloud environments and protect our data. To support this effort, a cybersecurity roadmap has been defined, covering technical, organizational, and governance aspects, with the objective of reinforcing security practices and preparing the company for future compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001).
As part of this initiative, we are looking for a Master’s or engineering school intern to contribute to the implementation and follow-up of this cybersecurity roadmap. The internship takes place in Cloud-based and DevOps-oriented environments and involves interaction with CI/CD practices, infrastructure configurations, and associated security best practices.
Your responsibilities:
- Get up to speed with the cybersecurity roadmap and identified improvement areas.
- Ensure tracking and prioritization of actions using the internal platform (progress monitoring, reporting, risk visibility).
- Contribute to the implementation of technical security measures, particularly in Cloud environments.
- Participate in DevSecOps practices: integrating security requirements into CI/CD pipelines, configurations, and automation principles.
- Contribute to the formalization of cybersecurity policies and procedures (access management, incident handling, security best practices).
- Support security awareness and training initiatives for internal teams.
Profile sought:
- Education: Final-year Master’s (M2) or engineering school student in cybersecurity, computer science, systems, networks, or cloud.
- Technical skills:
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and interest in security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Familiarity with Cloud environments and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation; infrastructure-as-code concepts are a plus).
- Interest in securing application and Cloud environments.
- Personal qualities:
- Intellectual curiosity and initiative.
- Comfortable with project tracking and cross-functional collaboration.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Autonomy, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for tackling technical challenges.
What We Offer:
- A stimulating work environment in a startup at the forefront of AI applied to industrial inspections.
- A hands-on, high-impact operational internship with real responsibilities.
- Exposure to modern challenges: cybersecurity, Cloud, and DevOps.
- Potential for permanent employment depending on performance and opportunities.
